About Leisure Time Marketing
Leisure Time Marketing was founded in June of 1976 by Gary Chancy. It was designed to service the marine, specialty automotive, and the RV OEM and aftermarket.
Today, Leisure Time acts as the sales and marketing arm of a select group of well-known manufacturers selling products on a commission basis on a national and regional basis to the RV Industry, out of regional offices in Greensboro, North Carolina and our home base, Huntington Beach, California.
Our highly experienced sales force, with over 100 years of experience, call on the warehouse distributors and key market RV dealers throughout the entire United States. Representation can be tailored for national coverage or specific regional concentration. We operate a full customer service staffed warehouse in Southern California.
All agency personnel are utilized on a territorial basis, with the exception of certain key relationships. Accounts are contacted on a proven call system depending on the requirements of our factories and seasonal programming. Each man or woman is responsible for key dealers in their area to insure that product movement through the entire system is effective. Our personnel are well known throughout the territory. We conduct many training programs for dealerships, distributor call centers, and customer field sales forces that include “ride-alongs”. We attend all major industry trade shows and important retail rallies.We actively reach out to every market level each months , employing e-mail marketing, direct mail, telemarketing , and a newsletter that ties into monthly distributor marketing programs. We know how to generate effective sales campaigns for our factories.
We believe in aggressive representation to viable customers through programs and not price wherever possible. Excellent customer service and follow-up is absolutely essential. No product is really sold until it is paid for and put to use by the ultimate customer. We believe every effort must be put forward to insure that we are doing business with “movers and shakers” in any given distribution pattern and that they are fully satisfied with the profit potential of the lines that we represent. In short, Performance is the name of the game.
We fully realize that the income generated by a line is directly proportional to the amount of time and effort given that line. We have the horses and the street knowledge on both a national and territorial level to get the job done. We want to be number one in each of our product categories.
